Are You Wonder Full?
It is a most wonderful day today! A few minutes ago, I was wishing some of my Facebook friend’s happy birthday and the Lord showed me the neatest thing. But, before I get to that, I diligently try to give each of you recognition on your birthday. If I miss sending you a birthday greeting, please forgive me. It certainly is not on purpose but an oversight- and sometimes I wonder if Facebook always includes every name; just saying! Anyway, back to today. I almost always tell each one celebrating a birthday that I hope they have a “wonderful day”. As I typed out the word wonderful, I heard in my spirit “Deb, is your day wonder full? Get it? A definition of wonder is a miracle, phenomenon, or marvel. Is your day full of miracles, unexplainable phenomenon, and marvels that amaze your mind and fill your heart with joy? As you look at your surroundings, can you see the wonder in God’s handiwork? The leaves on the trees across the street are changing colors presenting a brilliant palette of greens, yellows, and oranges on a canvas hand-made by God himself. Are you experiencing the wonders He works in your life? I can’t help but think back a few months ago when I was lying in a hospital bed with acute liver failure how the “wonder” working power of God overshadowed me and has so amazingly healed and restored. So like my simple birthday greetings, my prayer for today is that you will fully experience the “wonder” of God working in and through your life on a daily basis. Don’t take things for granted. There is no such thing as chance. The blessing you enjoy are because God has worked “wonders” especially for you. Be careful to acknowledge His hand at work and be thankful for His “wonder” working presence that leads, guides, and protects in ways none of us can see or understand. But, remember the greatest of all “wonders” is that “Jesus Loves YOU!”
